Experience Ardour

Spotlight: Amanda Magadan, owner and chef extraordinaire of Savor Life

Hi guys! . Thanks for joining me in Blogland today.

I wanted to continue down the path I started last month about community, specifically within wedding world. I am just growing such an appreciation for the talent surrounding me, and the growing sense of camaraderie. I must say this of event planning in general, we are only as good as the folks we surround ourselves with. We are the sum of all of our parts and working together in unity is what makes us great.

One very special lady I want to introduce you all to, is Amanda Magadan. I had the pleasure of meeting her in December for a beautiful celebration for a young man going away to college on a football scholarship. This was an amazing event for Ardour to execute, as I was surrounded by many vendors I brought in myself. I already knew we would work well together. The only vendor I didn’t know was someone whose business is called Savor Life! I liked the name immediately. Amanda just happened to be a life long friend of our hostess. But may I just say, from the second I met her, it clicked. I got it! She got it! We meshed. And that was the start of a lovely professional friendship with ties to a family that we each now have a special bond with.

Amanda has been firmly embedded in her community in Brandon for many years now, being a personal chef and serving in her church. She has this amazing commitment to the well being of those she serves, as, most families in her parish can attest. Amanda pays attention to detail and has an eye for beauty, balance and the art of food.It is also very normal to see her serving her delicious cuisine at several of the barn wedding/ event venues in and around our area. Savor Life is here to stay! And be on the look out, you may see her catering my next event! :)

I don’t remember what she called this appetizer, but the balsamic glaze made this delectable. :)
